Instagram Feed Widget for Your Website

Your posts and a follow button, on your page, in your colours.

Connect your Instagram once and your latest posts appear on your own website as a grid, a slider or a single row, with a follow button above them. The feed takes its colours and font from your page and picks up each new post by itself, so the site keeps pace with the account you already post to.

Shown with our own account. On your site it shows yours.
How it works

Connect once, choose the look, paste three lines.

Setup happens in your iHayz account, and the handbook carries a picture for every click. A developer is optional.

STEP 01iHayz

Connect your Instagram once

Sign in to Instagram from the widget screen and allow it to read your posts. An account already linked to iHayz for your inbox or post scheduling can be picked from the list instead.

STEP 02iHayz

Choose the look

Pick the layout, the number of posts and columns, the header and the colours. The preview runs on your own posts at phone, tablet and desktop width.

Paste three lines

Place the three lines on the page where the posts should sit, as you would a map or a video. Your website shows green in iHayz once the feed has been seen there.

Five layouts

One feed, laid out for the spot it fills.

Each layout draws from the same connected account. Change it in iHayz and every page that carries the embed follows, with no edit to your code.

Grid

Rows of posts under your header, with Load more and a link to your profile at the foot.

Slider

A single row that moves with arrows and swipe, made for a home page band or a product page.

Masonry

Columns that keep each post’s own shape, with its caption under the picture.

Strip

One row of squares for the site footer, ending in the follow button.

Follow button

The button on its own, for a contact page, a sidebar or the header.

The follow button

An Instagram follow button for your website, without the feed.

Where a full grid would crowd the page, place the button alone in one of three sizes. It opens your profile in a new tab and loads nothing from Instagram.

Match my site

Colours and font that follow the page around it.

With Match my site on, the feed reads the background, text colour and font of the place it sits in, and takes your link colour for its button. When your page turns dark, the feed turns with it.

This page works the same way. Switch it between light and dark and the strip here and the feed at the top change with it.

Where it works

An Instagram feed for Shopify, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and more.

Any site that accepts a few lines of code takes the same three lines. The handbook shows where they go on each platform below.

Shopify

A Custom Liquid section in the theme editor, on any page of the store.

WordPress

A Custom HTML block in the page editor, or a widget area of your theme.

Wix

The Embed HTML element, sized to the space you give it.

Squarespace

A Code block in any section of the page.

Webflow

An Embed element placed where the posts should appear.

Plain HTML

The three lines pasted into the page file at the spot the feed belongs.

What you own

Your account stays yours.

Four facts that hold wherever the feed is placed.

01

Your account, your permission

The feed reads your posts through a connection you approve in Instagram. Withdraw it from Instagram or from iHayz at any time and the reading stops.

02

Pictures from our storage

Each picture is copied once when the post is read and served to visitors from our storage, so an expired Instagram link never leaves a gap on your page.

03

One website

Each widget answers on the website you name. Copied onto any other site, the embed shows a notice in place of your posts.

04

No cookies, no tracking

The follow button is a plain link to your profile. Visitors are not followed from page to page; we keep daily counts of views, follow clicks and posts opened.

FAQ

Questions before you connect.

Anything else, ask in writing and the answer comes back in writing within one business day.

Can a private Instagram account connect?

No. Instagram shares posts with a website only from Business and Creator accounts, and both are public. Switching a personal account over takes a minute in the Instagram app, and the handbook shows each tap.

Does it show reels?

Yes. A reel sits in the feed with its cover picture and a play mark, beside your photos and carousels. You can also keep reels out, or show reels alone.

How often does the feed refresh?

About every 90 minutes. A new post appears on your site at the next refresh and a deleted one leaves at the same moment. You can also ask for a refresh from your iHayz screen.

What happens if we disconnect?

Your latest posts stay on the site for 7 days while we write to you about reconnecting. After those 7 days the feed shows nothing, and the pictures we stored for it are deleted.
